Background
ATF, or known more crassly as “Alaskan Thunderfuck”, is a wildly popular heavy-hitting sativa-dominant strain. This wildly popular strain has genetics that are a little convoluted. Hailing from the Matanuska Valley in Alaska, ATF is crossed with an Afghani indica landrace and the child of an unknown Northern California strain and unknown Russian ruderalis, which is a lesser-known genus of cannabis. Although its familial line is fairly complex, what is rock-solid is its high THC-content, which has been tested as high as 27%!

Appearance, Aroma and Flavour
ATF is a chunky strain with large tapered buds and bright orange pistils weaved throughout the flowers. Sharing similar qualities of its namesake state, ATF is coated inside and out with thick layers of snow-white trichomes, which evoke visions of the Arctic Circle. ATF has a very strong essence that is a heavy mix of skunk and gassy diesel with hints of nutty and earthy pine and chocolate.
