Leafythings Van Travels: Kensington Market

Leafythings spent one of the hottest days of the year at the heart of downtown Toronto, in a neighbourhood famously known for its indie shops, vintage boutiques, and art spaces, also known as Kensington Market.

Did you know that before legalization, this market was already home to a number of popular dispensaries throughout the city, such as Hot Box Cafe, which allowed consumers to light up their cannabis of choice on their backyard patio? This brought a sense of community and gave individuals a safe space to consume their cannabis products safely. 

Fast forward to summer 2021, the city was coming alive, and we knew we had to take advantage of the city's returning hustle and bustle, so we drove over to Kensington and set up our Leafythings Van.

As always, we had tons of goodies to give away, but we wanted to take it even further by giving away MORE than our merch... This time, we included some goodies from one of Toronto's favourite cannabis dispensaries - CAFE.

CAFE is a chain dispensary with four locations located in the Downtown Toronto area: Harbord Village, Cityplace, St Clair West, and Bloor St. 

They offer a variety of consumer favourite brands such as Smokes and Jokes, Euphoria Extractions, and Wesley Tea, to name a few. CAFE is more than a shop! At the front, CAFE is a full-on coffee house that offers delicious hot and iced beverages like matcha lattes and hot chocolate. The best part is that you can get your beverage infused with CBD, THC, or even a 1-1 option if that's what you choose. 

Let's just say, Kensington Market is home to many amazing people and shops like CAFE. Leafythings had the best time giving away swag bags full of free merch and goodies to everyone who said high!
