Black Diamond Strain Information

Origin/Genetics
Blackberry Kush × Diamond OG are the parents of this lovely strain that was developed in Northern California. Started out as a rare strain, but due to its quick popularity and high demand it exploded on the scene and can now be found through many cannabis retailers.

Physical Form
Compact, spongy/rubbery buds that can reform to its original shape after being squeezed. They feel very dense but don't fluff up very much when grinded. Instead they break down into tiny fragments but have a Play-Doh like texture and can roll the grinded flakes into little balls. Dark forest green in colour, and a few brown hairs popping through in spots, the buds have a purple shadow effect that acts as a thin blanket on top and is finely coated in milky white trichomes.

Fragrance
The first thing you notice is the bright, fresh berry tones. It is like you are right there standing in the berry bush. The fresh smell of the berries mixed with the scent of the plant and the earth it is growing out of gives you that real feeling. When broken apart, the natural sweetness pours out with a slight woody scent it and reminds you a little of a rich red wine. The very pleasant tones send a calm wave through your body with each sniff.

Flavours
The flavour has a lot of the same elements as the aroma but provides a different tone. There is an overwhelming sweet berry taste that has the same fresh feeling the scent provided, and has a mild caramel undertone added that when combined tastes like a cigar dipped in wine. It is a sweet, dry flavour that really lingers for some time and even overpowers the fresh woody flavours in the exhale.
