Looking for some immediate relief? CBD tinctures are your best bet. Back’s been bothering you? A topical application, like a CBD cream, should do the trick!

With so many ways of using CBD, there’s plenty of space to get a little creative with how you use it, so we put together a list of our favourite DIY recipes and remedies

CBD Latte

Putting CBD oil in your coffee is a lovely (and discrete) way to add it to your daily routine, so why not treat yourself and make it a little more delicious with a homemade latte?

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of coffee (or 2 if its Monday)
  • 1 cup hemp milk (or milk of choice)
  • Water soluble CBD oil or tincture (or 2 tsp hemp oil)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tsp honey, date syrup, or sweetener of choice

This recipe will leave you feeling calm, focused, and ready to start your day. Simply combine the ingredients over low- medium heat in a saucepan. Enjoy it hot or chilled.

CBD Bath Bombs

After a long, hectic day, one of the best ways to relax is with a nice warm bath. But if you’re looking for a whole new level of relaxation, try adding one of these CBD bath bombs to the mix.

Ingredients (makes 2 bath bombs):

  • 4 oz (118 ml) baking soda
  • 2 oz (60 ml) citric acid
  • 2 oz (60 ml) corn starch
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Epsom salt
  • 1 tsp water
  • 5-10 drops of essential oil of your choice
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 200 mg CBD
  1. Combine the baking soda, corn starch, citric acid and salt in a bowl and whisk to remove any clumps.
  2. Mix the melted coconut oil with the other liquid ingredients.
  3. Gradually whisk the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients (If the mixture begins foaming, pour in the liquid more slowly). The mixture should be just moist enough to be able to be clumped together in your hand. If it’s slightly too dry, add a little more water.

Once the mixture is a good consistency, put it in molds of your choice. If you don’t want to buy bath bomb molds, muffin tins work just as well.

Leave them in their molds to dry overnight and they’ll be ready to use the next evening. The next steps are easy: fill your bath, drop a bomb, and chill.

Another effective, yet discreet method of getting your daily dose of CBD is via creams and topicals. There are plenty on the market, but most are filled with unnecessary additives and chemicals.
